Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Officer

Location: Onitsha, Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The position encompasses the troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of injection and blow molding machines, Equipment maintenance and overall facility upkeep of plants and machineries.

Job Description

• Proper maintenance of all equipment and make P.P.M check list.
• Planning and effecting preventive maintenance schedules of various Electrical machineries and equipment’s to increase machine up time and equipment reliability.
• Proactively identifying areas of obstruction/breakdowns and take steps to rectify the equipment’s through application of trouble shooting tools.
• Commissioning of office and industrial wiring (single phase & three phase) all types of light and power point check.
• Executing cost saving and energy saving techniques/measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction.
• Calculation of KWH generation, diesel consumption.
• Handling BMS System, VRV, Package Unit, Duct-able Unit, AHU, TFA, HWG, Cooling Tower, Condenser and Chilled water line & Chillers commissioning & installation
• Implementing & maintaining History cards for plant & machineries.
• Preventive maintenance of moulding machine and Motors.
• Preventive maintenance of Injection moulding machine. Technical Support/ Troubleshooting
• Dismantling, assembling, and troubleshooting of plant & machines.
• Increasing mean time between failures & reducing mean time to repair machines, thus increasing productivity.
• Effect repairs, servicing and running of machinery and equipment.
• Maintain regular records of equipment’s and machines.
• Control unnecessary downtime by ensuring preventive maintenance policies are adhered to.

Qualification & Experience

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification in Electrical Engineering with 5 years & above experience in a Plastic Industry.

Key Competencies Required:

• Good job knowledge, Team Player, Good Communication skills, Endearing Behavior, Knowledge of Electrical wiring work, Knowledge of reading electrical diagrams and Good reporting skills.

Salary
N150,000 - N300,000 / month.
