Job Description

• Eazzy Tranzact is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee and manage all financial and controlling aspects of the company.
• You will serve as the sole finance professional responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Present financial reports and findings to senior management and stakeholders, providing recommendations for strategic decision-making.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management for optimizing profitability and operational efficiency.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Work closely with department heads to develop accurate and realistic budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor budget variances and proactively identify and address potential issues or discrepancies.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
• Coordinate audits and regulatory filings, ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial reports and disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting obligations.
• Oversee cost accounting processes to accurately track production costs, overhead expenses, and inventory valuation.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships, conducting due diligence and financial modelling to assess their financial impact and feasibility.
• Develop long-term financial plans and forecasts to support business growth and expansion initiatives.
• Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with departments such as operations, procurement, and sales etc to drive collective success.
• Collaborate with various teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting, or related field; AICPA, CIMA, CPA, CFA, or CMA designation preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, with proven experience in a financial leadership role, preferably within the fintech industry.
• Proven track record of leading financial planning processes, managing complex financial models, and driving strategic decision-making.
• Proficiency in financial software systems.
