Job Summary

• We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for cleanliness, strong organizational skills, and a passion for providing excellent service to our guests.
• As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of comfort and satisfaction for all guests.

Job Responsibilities
Room Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Replace linens, towels, and toiletries as needed.
• Ensure all appliances and fixtures are in good working order, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate department.

Public Area Maintenance:

• Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Ensure common areas are neat, sanitized, and presentable at all times.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other inventory items.
• Report inventory shortages to the housekeeping supervisor in a timely manner.

Guest Interaction:

• Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Provide information and assistance to guests as needed, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort.

Compliance and Safety:

• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
• Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety regulations.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks as assigned.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of cleaned rooms and completed tasks.
• Report any lost and found items to the housekeeping supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
