Job Title: Facility Management Supervisor

Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • The Facility Manager (Hospitality) is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of the hospitality facility.
  • This role involves overseeing the daily operations, and ensuring a safe, clean, efficient and welcoming environment for guests.
  • The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in facility management within the hospitality industry, demonstrating strong leadership, technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring all areas are well-maintained and functioning efficiently.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for the facility and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Conduct safety training and development programs for staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Prepare and manage the facility's budget, controlling expenses to ensure cost-efficiency.
  • Oversee the procurement of supplies and equipment, negotiating with vendors to secure the best terms.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained throughout the facility.
  • Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Regularly assess guest satisfaction and implement improvements based on feedback.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance needs.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure that the facility adheres to all health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct safety training for staff and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
  • Manage emergency response procedures and conduct regular drills.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in facility management within the hospitality industry.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in using facility management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
