Description

• We are looking for a skilled Procurement Officer to manage our company's supply of products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers. You will ensure cost-effective purchases and timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing: Identify reliable suppliers and source products and services based on company needs and specifications.
• Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements.
• Purchase Orders: Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Supplier Management: Evaluate supplier performance, resolve issues, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stakeholders to optimize inventory management and minimize stock outs.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
• Cost Management: Track procurement expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service delivery.
• Reporting: Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to management.

Qualifications

• Education: A university graduate
• Experience:Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably in a retail store

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
• Attributes:Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
