Job Title: Creative Designer

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job Description

• Develop compelling design concepts for marketing materials, including packaging design, social media graphics, website banners, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
• Create high-quality product mockups and packaging layouts.
• Design engaging infographics and data visualizations. Brand Identity:
• Maintain brand consistency across all design elements, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to translate brand strategy into visually impactful design solutions.
• Explore new design trends and innovation to keep the Buybetter Cosmetics brand image fresh and modern.
• User Experience (UX) Design:
• Contribute to the user experience (UX) design of the Buybetter Cosmetics website and e-commerce platform.
• Ensure a visually appealing and user-friendly experience for customers across all digital touchpoints.
• Software Proficiency:
• Adept in using industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Working knowledge of web design principles and potentially UI/UX design software (a plus).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work, with a focus on beauty and cosmetics industry experience (a plus).
• Excellent understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, and composition.
• Proven ability to translate brand strategy into creative and visually appealing designs.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for the beauty industry and a keen eye for aesthetics.
