Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary

• Our client in the manufacturing industry is hiring for the role of a Senior Accountant.
• The ideal candidate would be responsible for collaborating with Accountants, Finance Leads and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks.
• The successful candidate will be largely responsible for managing daily accounting tasks for the business while ensuring alignment of expectations with other team members and the Line Manager.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Utilize database software to organize financial account information
• Handle account inquiries from internal and external sources
• Make regular follow up with Customer Care Department to contact clients to ensure payment
• Perform internal audits on financial activities as necessary
• Review both incoming and outgoing invoices
• Generate financial reports for review by regulatory authorities
• Create and Validate Purchase Orders to be issued to Vendors on request of the Project Management Department
• Create Customer Profit and loss Account
• Computation, Filling and Remittance of Taxes such as VAT, WHT, PAYE
• Bank Reconciliation
• Inventory Accounting & Verification
• Payroll Computation

Requirements

• Degree in business administration or account preferred
• A Certified Public Accountant title is preferred
• Familiarity with productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using accounting software, such as Fresh Books and Tally
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience
