Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (APRM)

Location: Lagos

Description 

  • As our client continues to expand and enhance our services, our client is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fintech or financial services, with a strong understanding of digital payment solutions, savings products, and financial inclusion.
  • As CEO, you will be responsible for driving the company's strategic vision, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring sustainable growth.
  • You will work closely with the executive team, board of directors, and key stakeholders to deliver exceptional value to our customers and shareholders.

Key Responsibilities 
Strategic Leadership:

  • Vision and Strategy: Develop and implement the company's long-term vision and strategic plan to drive growth, innovation, and market leadership.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and customer segments to expand the company's footprint and revenue streams.
  • Product Innovation: Oversee the development and enhancement of savings and payment products to meet evolving customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Operational Excellence:

  • Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the company's operational and financial goals are met.
  • Risk Management: Implement robust risk management practices to safeguard the company’s assets, reputation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Operational Efficiency: Optimize business processes and systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.

Financial Stewardship:

  • Financial Oversight: Manage the company's financial health, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to the board of directors and stakeholders.
  • Capital Management: Secure funding, manage investor relations, and strategically allocate resources to maximize return on investment and support growth initiatives.
  • Cost Management: Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to maintain profitability while ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Team Leadership:

  • Executive Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire the executive team to achieve company goals and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Talent Development: Promote continuous learning and development opportunities to attract, retain, and develop top talent across the organization.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to build a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of executive leadership experience in the fintech or financial services industry, with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation.
  • Skills: Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, operational expertise, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of digital payments, savings products, financial inclusion, and the regulatory environment in the financial services sector.
  • Attributes: Visionary, results-driven, customer-focused, excellent communicator, and able to build and lead high-performing teams.
