About the Job

• We are in search of a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Business Analyst. This role involves high-level strategic advisory responsibilities with an emphasis on analyzing relevant policies, providing guidance and advisory on regulations, and legislative proposals that may impact the company’s operations and interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level strategic advice on cultivating and managing relationships with key government officials, policymakers, and influencers at the federal and state levels.
• Offer guidance on positioning the company as a thought leader and trusted partner in the energy sector, shaping policies and regulations favorable to the company's growth.
• Assess the interests, motivations, and power dynamics of these stakeholders, and provide recommendations on effective engagement strategies.
• Analyze relevant policies, regulations, and legislative proposals that may impact the company's operations and interests.
• Report regularly to the Government Relations leadership team on emerging trends, potential risks, and opportunities related to government relations and regulatory affairs.
• Preparing and guiding the company's responses, documentary submissions, and follow-up engagements for statutory permits and licenses.
• Ensuring compliance with extant laws and regulations relevant to the Company's business operational needs, including but not limited to environmental regulations, labor laws, tax regulations, and industry-specific regulations.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of work experience with Government Relations
• 2+ years of work experience with Face-to-face Communication
