Job Title: Head of Finance

Job Summary
Head of Finance with the ability to design and implement the finance strategy. The incumbent will be required to find solutions to complex business challenges and work effectively with the Chief Executive Officer and the Executive leadership, Group CFO and the Board to ensure the success of the business.
The incumbent will provide overall finance leadership, sound technical knowledge, applied finance skills, strategic input, IT structure and systems, implementation of systems and procedures, knowledge of operations and structures to support the Organisation.
Areas of Responsibilities
Leadership:
Responsible for the strategic role, and to actively be involved in developing and execution of the 5-year business plan and strategies.
Provide financial analysis and decision-making support to the TTS CFO, the Executive Team and the Board of Directors.
Work with the Group CFO and related parties to achieve the group goals.
Mentor, coach and provide direction and support to direct subordinates, while holding the Finance Team to a high standard of excellence.
Finance:
Lead the design and assessment of financial strategy and performance as it relates to the annual budget and rolling 5-year business plans and strategies.
Be responsible for the consolidation of statement, reporting and analysis and improve efficiencies.
Oversee the timely and accurate budgeting process, financial reports, business models that require the CEO, and Executive Team in making informed strategic, resource allocation, and decisions.
Review and manage (and establish as needed) internal systems, controls, processes, and procedures to ensure the integrity, accuracy, compliance, and usefulness of financial information and reporting for ACTC.
Oversee successful completion of annual audits, tax returns filings (includes, company tax, employee tax, VAT and other taxes)
Review and approve the financial models included in material tenders to ensure the returns on the proposals are aligned to the ROI of the company.
Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, prepaids, credit card expense reporting, payroll processing, monthly reconciliation, and monthly and year-end reporting requirements.
Establish strategic relationships with all stakeholders
Evaluate and oversee risk management and internal audit issues
Good working relationship with the CEO, the Executive Team and the finance team to create culture and values focused on equity, learning, and improved results.
Lead and manage technology. Assess, create and implement streamlined solutions to support operational effectiveness and provide timely and accurate reporting, reimbursements, etc.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
Candidate must have a valid ACCA/ACA qualification or equivalent.
At least 10 years’ experience with minimum three years post qualification and in senior management.
Experience in implementing accounting software to improve efficiencies.
Experience in adopting and implementing new accounting standards.

Ability to periodically participate in meetings and events outside of core business hours.
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
