Job Title: Chartered Accountant / Auditor

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chartered Accountant with a specialization in internal audit to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have up to 6 years of work experience in accounting and auditing, with a strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, management accounting, cost accounting and financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop audit plans, procedures, and testing methodologies to ensure thorough examination of financial and operational processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend practical solutions to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans for management review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress towards resolution of identified issues.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure audit processes remain relevant and effective.
• Assist in external audit engagements by providing relevant documentation and supporting evidence as needed.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational performance and mitigating risks.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (ACCA/ ICAN,) certification is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Up to 6 years of relevant work experience in accounting, auditing, or internal controls.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal control frameworks, and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends or anomalies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in all aspects of work.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills preferred.

Salary
N750,000 - N2,000,000 / month.
