We are a Software Quality Assurance and Testing Services provider. Our primary goal is to be the "go to" Quality Assurance & Software Testing company in East and West Africa while developing offshore resources to fill test automation positions (and other hard to find software testing capabilities) in the North America and European markets.

Job Title: Scrum Master

Job Description

• The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring that the Scrum framework is followed.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices and will work closely with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Plan and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Remove Impediments: Identify and remove any obstacles that may impede the team's progress.
• Coach Team Members: Provide coaching and guidance on Agile principles, practices, and tools to ensure team adherence to the Scrum framework.
• Foster Collaboration: Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization.
• Track Progress: Monitor and report on team progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the development team and product owner, ensuring clear communication and understanding of priorities.
• Continuous Improvement: Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement within the team, leveraging feedback and lessons learned from retrospectives.
• Agile Best Practices: Advocate for Agile best practices and contribute to the development and implementation of Agile processes and standards within the organization.
• Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts within the team, fostering a positive and productive working environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
• Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other relevant Agile certifications (e.g., PSM, PMI-ACP).
• Agile Knowledge: Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and Agile methodologies
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with team members, product owners, and other stakeholders.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and software development lifecycle.
