Job Title: Adobe Illustrator / Graphic Designer

Job Summary

• We are looking for an illustrator/graphic designer who will combine hand-drawing and painting with digital media to produce visually captivating illustrations.
• As our illustrator, you will use your skills in drawing, color, composition, and storytelling to create engaging images that enliven product descriptions, technical data, and key brand messages for our customers.
• The candidate will also be responsible for generating creative ideas and conceptualizing design solutions based on client briefs, project objectives, and goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare rough drafts according to requirements
• Combine hand-drawing and painting with digital media to create complete illustrations
• Refine designs with illustration software
• Use various colors, graphics and effects to better visualize each concept
• Format images using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Apply isometric techniques to add perspective to complex shapes
• Participate in design briefs with clients, editors and/or marketers to identify their needs
• Define time and budget limitations
• Ensure that printed illustrations meet quality and color standards
• Brainstorm with the design team to come up with new ideas, patterns and styles
• Stay up-to-date with new design techniques and software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a creative field preferred but not required
• Proficiency in programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXPress, and Illustrator
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an illustrator/ graphic designer
• Strong attention to detail and artistic skills
• Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects
• Strong analytical skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
• Experience with both print and digital media
• Must be ready for a prompt interview and available to start work.

Salary
N150,000 per month.
