Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer professional to oversees the planning, design, and execution of our client's civil engineering projects.
• He/She shall provide technical leadership,manage project budgets and resources,and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the project team to understand project requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Assist in the development of project plans, designs, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities, including site preparation, excavation, foundation work, and building construction.
• Monitor progress against the project schedule and take proactive measures to address any delays or issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure that workmanship and materials meet project standards and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and testing of construction materials and components.
• Address any quality issues promptly and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members, subcontractors, and field staff.
• Resolve technical issues and conflicts that arise during construction.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Promote a culture of safety on-site and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Investigate accidents or incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5 - 7 years of experience as a Civil Engineer,with experience in managing projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (may be required).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering software.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
