Job Description

• We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacologist to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who have completed their NYSC and have at least one year of experience in a community pharmacy setting.

Position Overview

• The Pharmacologist will be responsible for conducting research on drugs and their effects, advising on the development of new medications, and providing expert advice on the use and safety of pharmaceuticals.
• The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Pharmacology or a related field, with a minimum of one year of experience in a community pharmacy setting.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Conduct research to understand the effects of drugs and other chemical substances on humans and animals.
• Advise on the development and testing of new drugs and medications.
• Analyze data from clinical trials and other studies to determine the effectiveness and safety of new treatments.
• Provide expert advice on the use and safety of medications to healthcare professionals and patients.
• Collaborate with other scientists and researchers to advance pharmaceutical knowledge and develop new treatments.
• Stay updated on the latest research and developments in pharmacology and related fields.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all research and development activities.

Requirements / Qualifications

• B.Sc in Pharmacology or a related field.
• Completion of NYSC with at least one year of experience in a community pharmacy setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• A plus if you have experience working in a community pharmacy in Lekki, Victoria Island, or Festac.
