Job Description

• Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the position of Sports Technical Director.
• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful leadership in international educational settings, a deep understanding of diverse games, and a passion for fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive technical plan for the organization.
• Set long-term and short-term technical goals for teams and individual players.
• Ensure alignment of coaching methodologies across all levels.
• Establish performance benchmarks and metrics for evaluation.

Team Management:

• Oversee the recruitment, development, and performance of coaching staff.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among coaching staff.
• Monitor and support the progress of teams and individual players.
• Coordinate with medical and fitness staff to optimize player health and performance.

Player Development:

• Develop and implement player development programs.
• Identify and nurture talent through scouting and training programs.
• Ensure a clear pathway for player progression within the organization.
• Oversee player assessments and feedback processes.

Strategic Planning:

• Contribute to the strategic direction and planning of the organization.
• Develop and manage budgets related to technical operations.
• Analyze performance data to inform strategic decisions.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.

Compliance and Governance:

• Ensure compliance with all governing body regulations and standards.
• Develop and enforce technical policies and procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.

Community Engagement:

• Represent the organization in technical forums and discussions.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including fans, sponsors, and community organizations.
• Promote the organization’s technical vision and values.

Qualifications
Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Sports Science, Sports Management, or a related field.

Experience:

• 4 years of experience in a technical or coaching role within sports.
• Proven experience in team and player development.
• Previous experience as a head coach or in a senior technical role is preferred.
