We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying business growth opportunities and developing strategies to increase company revenue.
  • They collaborate with internal teams to improve existing processes and establish new business initiatives.
  • The Business Development Officer builds relationships with potential clients and stakeholders to expand the company's market presence and achieve financial growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop growth strategies and plans
  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
  • Increasing client base
  • Negotiating with key stakeholders
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
  • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
  • Researching business opportunities and viable income stream
  • Following industry trends locally and internationally
  • First point of contact for third parties.
  • Arrange and organise meetings.
  • Prepare presentations and reports.
  • Prepare project proposals.
  • Lead meetings addressing specific client challenges and develop recommendations and action plans towards their resolution.
  • Assist in collection of invoices that are issued on client accounts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in market research and analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
