Position Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic financial guidance.
• The Senior Account Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining financial health and supporting the organization’s mission through sound financial management.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and reports.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the development and management of annual budgets.
• Monitor budget implementation and expenditures to ensure alignment with financial plans.
• Provide financial forecasting and analysis to support strategic planning.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

• Implement and maintain effective internal control systems.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
• Prepare for and manage audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and compliant.

Financial Reporting:

• Generate comprehensive financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations for decision-making processes.
• Ensure transparency and accuracy in all financial disclosures.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 / month.
