Job Title: Senior Backend Developer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Responsibilities
We would like to get your application if you can:

• Design and develop backend systems based on customer requests or industry best practices
• Design, develop, and maintain databases to store and retrieve data
• Write code in one or more computer languages such as Java, .NET, or Python
• Develop new features for existing products or creating entirely new products
• Develop and implement new technologies as they become available
• Work with frontend developers to ensure that the application is compatible with all supported platforms
• Develop and support an application’s infrastructure, such as databases and servers
• Develop high-quality software design and architecture
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
• Other Backend-related tasks.

Requirements
What we are looking for:

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Backend development
• Lead and mentor a team of Backend Developers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Hands on experience with programming languages like Java, Ruby, PHP and Python
• Working knowledge of CMS framework
• Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS)
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Fun to work with
