We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Manager - Hospitality

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • To network with potential clients, maintain loyal customer base and oversee sales and marketing strategies.

Accountabilities

  • Develop action plans and set objectives for increased revenue and maximum profit.
  • Responsible for Apartment, spa and restaurant sales.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunity and increase sales.
  • Represent the company at various events and exhibitions.
  • Conduct daily sales calls and arrange site inspection
  • Provide quick and timely responses, immediate communication to the guests, develop professional long term business relationships.
  • Work closely with Director of Finance to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the property.
  • Develop strong relationships with property front office team to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
  • Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Acquiring and developing new business accounts and preparing sales proposals for clients.
  • Closely following up on all business leads within a 24- hour response time line to clients.
  • Design and advertise special group rates and packages to increase larger bookings.
  • Analyze current client base or target market for the property.
  • Devise new ways to expand that client base
  • Develop promotional and advertising materials for the property.
  • Oversee distribution of marketing materials.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • First Degree or post graduate in any related field
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Sales Executive or Sales Manager or Senior Sales Officer in the hospitality industry.
  • Deep knowledge of hospitality industry
  • Working knowledge of front office software.
  • Empathy towards your customers and colleagues.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Polished personal presentation with warm, confident and hospitable personality.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • A strong knowledge about the facilities and policies of the hotel
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to set priorities
  • Excellent customer service ethics
  • Commitment to exceeding guest expectations

Salary
N500,000 - N700,000 Monthly.
