We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Internal Auditor / Compliance Officer

Locations: Port Harcourt, Rivers and Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management processes and identify potential control weaknesses.
• Investigate and document non-conformances, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to ensure implementation.
• Analyze audit findings and prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations for improvement.
• Partner with various departments to promote a culture of compliance and risk awareness.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant industry regulations and best practices in internal audit and compliance.
• Liaise with external auditors to support the external audit process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in internal auditing or a related compliance role
• Strong understanding of internal audit methodologies and risk management principles.
• Experience with conducting internal audits in a manufacturing or food production environment (a plus)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present findings to management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (preferred)
• Experience with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP)
• Proficiency in audit software (e.g., ACL).

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
