Job Title: Raw Materials Sourcing / Recycling Manager

Location: Sagamu, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Raw Materials Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies for recycling raw materials (PET, PP).
• This role requires expertise in sourcing for raw materialssupplier for recycling industry,contract negotiation, and knowledgeof sustainability practices.
• The successful candidate will ensure a reliable supply of high-quality recycled materials, optimizing cost and supporting our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for recycleableraw materials, ensuring alignment with company sustainability goals.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of recycled materials, assessing their capabilities, reliability, and compliance with environmental standards.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and continuously seek opportunities for expanding supplier base.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting recycled materials sourcing.
• Collaborate with the operations and quality control teams to ensure the suitability and quality of sourced materials.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
• Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of [5] years of experience in raw materials sourcing, preferably with a focus on recycling or sustainability.
• Strong knowledge of recycled materials, market dynamics, and sourcing best practices.
• Proven track record in supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Abiity to work in an Agile work enviroment
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and MS Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
