Overview

• Our client urgently requires the services of a Senior Project manager to join her team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for all projects within the company and will ensure that all company projects are delivered on time within budget and scope. With high quality and in accordance with the project goals.
• The overall goal of the role is to coordinate the delivery of the projects with the different Business Stakeholders (Business Owners, Customers).
• The role requires frequent travel within and outside Lagos state for long and short stays depending on the Project's needs.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• This position will make sure that each assigned project is delivered on time within budget and scope. As well, as high quality and in accordance with the project goals.
• The role requires frequent travel within Lagos and Nigeria for long and short stays depending on the Project's needs.
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Preparation of BOQs, RFPs and estimates for clients
• Planning: Responsible for developing a project plan in both waterfall and agile
• Budget Control: Responsible for monitoring the assigned budget for each project.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.
• Capacity Management: Ensure resource allocation.
• Follow up development.Coordination of development and implementation among the different Teams.Manage the relationships between different stakeholders such as: Customers, Vendors, Business Units, ArchitectureDevelopment, Infrastructure, QAetc.
• Perform risk management in conjunction with the above-mentioned stakeholders.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation: Reporting, Communication Strategy, Stakeholder Management, Planning & Budgeting
• Assumes responsibility for solving problems.
• Communicate effectively across all levels, engaging and inspiring at senior levels internally and externally.

Key Requirements

• BSc. / HND Quantity Surveyor from a reputable University
• 10 years experience as a Project Manager our of which 7 should be in senior management
• Previous experience in the roofing industry is required
• Previous demonstrable success in managing and leading teams
• Previous success in delivering commercial projects
• Resilient in working in challenging environments
• Driven and high attention to detail
• Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities
• Astute commercial and financial acumen
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in project management software and tools
• Adept at risk management and problem-solving
• Must be able to drive with a valid driver’s license.

Salary Range
N500,000 monthly.
