We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant 

Location: Sangotendo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities 

• Accounting Structure; Develop and set up an effective accounting structure using the Retail Supermarket business software of Busywin.
• Financial reporting: The accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to track the financial performance of the supermarket.
• Budgeting and forecasting: The accountant works with management to create budgets and financial forecasts for the supermarket. He or She shall monitor actual financial results against budgeted targets and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Tax compliance: The accountant shall ensure that the supermarket complies with all tax regulations and files accurate and timely tax returns. He or She shall also provide advice on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Inventory management: The accountant shall monitor and track the inventory levels of the supermarket to ensure that stock levels are well-maintained, and inventory costs are accurately recorded in the financial statements.
• Payroll processing: The accountant shall oversee the payroll process, ensuring that employees are accurately paid and that all payroll taxes and deductions are processed correctly.
• Cost control: The accountant shall work with management to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to control expenses and improve the overall financial performance of the supermarket.
• Financial analysis: The accountant shall conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in the supermarket's financial performance.

Requirements

• Experience: 1-3 years
• Knowledge of Busywin, Prokip and Quickbook softwares may be an advantage.

Salary
N150,000 - N180,000 Monthly.
