Human Capital Partners (HCP) is a professional services firm specialising in the provision of HR consulting services covering the entire spectrum of the Human Resources value chain. HCP is the successor firm of the erstwhile Executive Selection and Training Services group of KPMG in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Summary

• The role will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities and strategies to ensure the company's financial health and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to drive business growth and profitability.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, cash flow statements, and financial performance reports to provide insights to senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, conduct risk assessments, and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company's financial assets.
• Manage the company's capital structure, investments, and financing activities to optimize liquidity and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, industry standards, and accounting principles, while maintaining good governance practices within the finance department.
• Collaborate with the executive team to develop long-term financial strategies and goals aligned with the company's overall objectives.
• Supervise and mentor the finance team, including financial analysts, accountants, and other professionals, to ensure high performance and professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or any related field.
• Minimum Ten (10) years cognate experience in chief financial officer role.
• Proven experience in a business or finance environment; management experience
• Professional Certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) is required.
• He or she must have relevant Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards, high level of integrity, strong interpersonal communication, and negotiation skills.
