Job Summary

• A Media Sales Executive is responsible for selling advertising space across various media platforms, including television, radio, online, and print. The role requires a blend of sales expertise, marketing knowledge, and excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
Sales and Revenue Generation:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Sell advertising space across various media platforms, including TV, radio, online, and print.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Understand clients’ advertising needs and provide tailored media solutions.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Analyze competitors and stay informed about the latest industry developments.
• Develop and present proposals to clients based on market insights.

Negotiation and Contract Management:

• Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure advertising deals.
• Prepare and manage contracts, ensuring all terms are met.
• Handle any disputes or issues that arise during the contract period.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

• Work closely with the marketing, creative, and production teams to ensure the successful execution of advertising campaigns.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and strategies.

Reporting and Administration:

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market feedback.
• Use CRM software to manage client data and sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in media sales or a similar sales role.
• Strong understanding of advertising principles and media industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets.
