Job Title: Welder

Location: Ashipa Village, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled Welder to join our team at Pally Food Limited.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating equipment, machinery, and other metal components in our food processing facility.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Weld and fabricate equipment, machinery, and other metal components as required
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
  • Operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welders
  • Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Weld Quality: Achieve a weld quality rating of 95% or higher, as measured by regular inspections and testing.
  • Productivity: Complete welding tasks within scheduled timelines, with a minimum of 90% on-time completion rate.
  • Safety: Maintain a zero-incident record, with no accidents or injuries related to welding activities.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure welding equipment is properly maintained, with a minimum of 95% equipment uptime.
  • Innovation: Implement process improvements or suggest new techniques to increase efficiency, quality, or safety, with at least one suggestion implemented quarterly.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of welding experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment
  • Certification in welding (e.g. AWS, ASME) will be an added advatange
  • Strong understanding of welding processes and techniques
  • Ability to read blueprints and diagrams
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
