What You Will Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performing backend applications.
• Work closely with the frontend team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Lead the design and implementation of new features, services, and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimise applications for maintainability, maximum speed, scalability, and usability.
• Ensure the creation and maintenance of documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with the team to prioritize features and define the project roadmap.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues as they arise.
• Develop and write Specification and design documents.

Qualifications
What we are looking for:

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in building production software.
• Must possess a solid foundation in computer science
• Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and associated backend frameworks.
• Proficient in database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, and Redis.
• Experience with cloud services and deployment processes.
• Ability to lead and execute projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a drive for high-quality results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
