Job Description

• We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Raw Material Planner in the Food Production industry.
• As a Raw Material Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous flow of raw materials to meet production demands.
• You will be responsible for closely monitoring inventory levels, analyzing demand forecasts, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of raw materials.
• Additionally, you will collaborate with various departments within the organization, such as production, logistics, and quality control, to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management and a proven track record of successful material planning in a fast-paced industry. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are crucial for establishing and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers. Attention to detail and the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions are key attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with demand planning and production teams to develop accurate raw material requirements forecasts
• Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure availability of raw materials to meet production schedules
• Communicate closely with suppliers to manage orders, shipments, and delivery schedules
• Review and assess supplier performance and identify areas for improvement
• Coordinate with logistics team to optimize transportation and minimize costs
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, supplier information, and purchase orders
• Provide regular reports and updates on material availability, procurement status, and potential risks or issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration, or a related field
• Prior experience in raw material planning or procurement, preferably within the food production industry
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant tools
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
