We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Onitsha, Anambra

Responsibilities

• Overseeing Production Processes, Plan and execute the production schedule on time within budget and ensuring quality standards and ensure fortification process as per regulatory requirement are met.
• Conduct thorough Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures before production, ensuring the Fryma machine and other production lines are impeccably clean and sanitized. Set up machines, including calibration and cleaning processes, to initiate the production cycle.
• Oversee the mixing of mayonnaise, supervising the production process meticulously. Monitor and maintain parameters such as temperature, speed, and other essential variables to ensure consistent and high-quality production
• Ensure the safe use of equipment, schedule and organize the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
• Analyze budgets and continuously control production cost and identify/rectify waste measures.
• Ensure food safety, security, and sanitation systems are maintained in accordance with cGMP, cGWP, HACCP, and other guidelines – conduct periodic inspections of facilities, equipment, practices, etc.
• Coaches and develops staff, while fostering a team atmosphere. Provides pep talks as needed and coaching for any performance issues.
• Check production output according to specifications and submit report on performance and progress.
•  Identify issues of inefficiency, suggest and take action on improvement
• Conduct monthly performance appraisals for all production employees and communicate information to HR and Executive Management

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor's (M. Eng. & B.Eng. / HND) degree in sciences is required for this role.
• 10-15 years proven production work experience preferably in the food Manufacturing (Mayonnaise Operation) of which having a minimum 5years in managerial capacity.
• Deep knowledge of production management and Experience in reporting on key production metrics
• Familiarity with HACCP, ISO, GMP, AND Personal hygiene compliance Guidelines.
• Experience and knowledge of provincial health and safety standards.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Knowledge of project management principles and good housekeeping practices.
• Knowledge of business and management principles and practice.
• Excellent supervision, communication (oral and written), business presentation, skills, Organization, and leadership abilities, Self-motivated with a result driven approach, Problem- solving skill.

Salary
N500,000 - N750,000 per month.
