Job Description

• The Senior Project Planner/Engineer is directly responsible for creating and maintaining project plans and schedules, and leading the development of baseline schedules.
• The role supports the Project Manager (PM) in Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR).

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and implementation of an effective project planning and scheduling system.
• Champion the creation and maintenance of plans and schedules.
• Lead the planning and monitoring of project progress throughout the lifecycle.
• Participate in researching, defining, and setting project goals, objectives, budgets, and deadlines.
• Lead the estimating and coordinating of labor and resource needs.
• Support and liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Oversee schedules and risk management plans and provide serious deviations warnings hindering project results.
• Identify changes in work scope in the project plan.
• Ensure appropriate planning measures with company and contractors to reassess, renegotiate, and amend scope of work responsibilities, proposals, contracts, and budgets.
• Convey required project data and information to project teams.
• Prepare and present regular internal and external project reports for management.
• Evaluate and analyze risks and issues compromising project results and develop plans to mitigate them.
• Gather actual data, update project schedules, and develop reliable schedule forecasts with support from the project team.
• Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Senior Project Manager.

Qualification / Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in project planning within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficient in project management software (Primavera, MS Project,Asana etc).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
