Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Video Editor/Camera Operator to join our dynamic media team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both video editing and camera operation, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
• This role requires a creative individual who can capture compelling footage and transform it into engaging content across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities
Camera Operation:

• Operate professional video cameras and other related equipment to capture high-quality footage for various media projects.
• Set up and adjust camera equipment, including lighting, audio, and other technical aspects, to ensure optimal shot composition and quality.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and achieve desired visual outcomes.
• Shoot on-location or in-studio, adapting to different environments and conditions to deliver the best possible footage.

Video Editing:

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with the company’s brand and project goals.
• Use professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to assemble footage, apply transitions, effects, and audio enhancements.
• Ensure video content is of high quality, including color correction, sound design, and final output for various platforms.
• Collaborate with the creative team to review and incorporate feedback, ensuring final videos meet all requirements and standards.
• Assist in developing video concepts, storyboards, and shot lists to plan and organize video production efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration , Media Arts, Communication, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a video editor and camera operator in a media environment.
• Proficient in using professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and camera equipment.
• Strong understanding of video production techniques, including framing, lighting, and audio recording.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary
N80,000 / Month (Hybrid position is N60,000 / month).
