Job Description

• Legal officer -you will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of our operations, with a particular focus on migration services.
• Your role will involve ensuring compliance with relevant immigration laws and regulations, mitigating legal risks, and providing strategic legal advice to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements related to migration services.
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with clients, partners, and vendors to protect the company's interests and minimize legal exposure.
• Provide legal advice and support to  management on strategic initiatives, business transactions, and corporate governance matters.
• Develop and implement internal policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements and promote ethical practices.
• Manage legal disputes, including litigation and arbitration if necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited institution; advanced degree (LLM) preferred.
• Proven experience (2-3 years) as a Legal Officer in the fintech industry, particularly in areas related to migration services or related fields.
• Proven experience in managing complex programs and coordinating with multiple stakeholders. 
• In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations governing migration services, financial transactions, and data privacy.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey legal advice clearly and effectively to non-legal stakeholders.
