Mission

• To oversee the Information Management and Analytics framework to support the delivery of platforms and solutions for business performance reporting, data analysis and analytics, artificial intelligence, customer value management, data monetization through insights, and overall data management in the organization.

Description

• Contribute to the development of systems and solutions delivery methodology and framework to guide related activities within the IT Division, defining standards, processes, procedures, metrics, and operations requirements.
• Lead and guide a team of data analysts, engineers, and scientists responsible for the day-to-day delivery of business reporting requirements and enterprise data management.
• Lead the deployment of systems, platforms, and new technologies in the BI, Analytics, CVM, and AI ecosystems.
• Contribute to the BI, Analytics and AI roadmap and blueprint for MTN Nigeria.
• Support the development of the digital transformation program for Business Intelligence, Analytics, and AI.
• Budget planning and Capex management for Business Intelligence and AI initiatives
• System capacity planning and forecasting
• Develop and implement a portfolio rationalization program for BI and CVM systems and solutions.
• Implement a data governance and quality program for MTN Nigeria in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Business requirements management, prioritization, and alignment with the organization's strategic objectives
• Vendor and partner management for effective and efficient service delivery
• Ensure adequate maintenance of the team's policies, processes, and guidelines, and enforce compliance within the team.
• Collaborate with IT teams on Agile delivery and manage the team's product backlog for continuous value realization.
• Manage relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure MTNN value proposition and value for money on all product development projects.
• Manage the day-to-day working relationship between the BI Design team and other IT and business teams with respect to product reporting, system and platform data integration, and CVM campaign delivery.
• Lead a group of technical experts responsible for the design and delivery of business reports, data integration, data analytics projects, and artificial intelligence initiatives.

Requirements
Education:

• A First Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Technology, or a related discipline
• A master’s degree in a related field will be an added advantage.
• Professional certifications in IT and data/analytics domains will be an added advantage.
• Fluent in English.

Experience:
6 - 13 years’ experience, which includes:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization, with experience in supervising or managing others
• Experience working in a medium- to large organization
• Experience in implementing a big data and/or analytics solution, including a data warehouse and big data solutions
• Experience in enterprise data integration from multiple upstream data sources to BI or Big Data Platform
• Experienced in enterprise BI reporting delivery and support
• Good knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Emerging BI and analytics technologies
• Good knowledge of telecoms and digital technologies Ecosystem Design and Implementation
• Good knowledge of data and information architecture in a large enterprise
• Knowledge of data lake design and implementation
• Experience in Customer Value Management technology ecosystem and implementation
• Data Governance Program Implementation
• Experience in Master Data Management process and tools
• In-depth experience in Enterprise Architecture Practice and Processes
• Good understanding of ETL processes, data engineering, and pipeline management
• Good working knowledge of EA and IT frameworks such as SDLC, Agile, ITIL, TOGAT, COBIT, etc.
