Job Title: Client Relations / Business Development Officer

Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Client Relations/Business Development Officer is responsible for managing relationships with existing clients and developing new business opportunities.
  • This role involves understanding client needs, providing excellent customer service, and identifying ways to grow the company's market presence.

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Understand client needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
  • Handle client inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the client base.
  • Prepare and present proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies.
  • Participate in sales activities, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's products and services.
  • Track and report on sales performance and business development activities.

Client Retention:

  • Develop and implement client retention strategies.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and satisfaction surveys with clients.
  • Identify and address any issues that may impact client satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide clients with updates on new products, services, and company developments.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and business development activities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure client needs are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in client relations, sales, or business development.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 monthly.
