Job Description

• We are an Internet & Technology company building Softwares and Applications for Businesses.
• We are looking for a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming.
• Your task will be to build our new web application from scratch, and you should be able to do so in half the time that other competent developers think possible.
• Our stack is mainly Laravel + Vue/React.
• You would be responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside product designer for web design features, among other duties.
• We don't expect you to be perfect at frontend. But you should be able to make functional frontend. While focussing mainly on backend application with rapid development and faster development lifecycles.
• You will be required to see out the project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Developing front end website architecture.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Developing back-end website applications.
• Creating databases for functionality.
• Ensuring security and scalability of application.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Working alongside graphic and product designers for web design and application features.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

Requirements and qualities we are looking for

• Degree in computer science.
• Minimum 3 years experience in building complex web applications.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Willing to take complete, end-to-end ownership of projects.
• Understanding of OOP principles & proper code design.
• You must be able to use Git versioning system for project changes.
• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.JS, React.
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as PHP and frameworks like Laravel
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQLand MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies- AWS, GCP etc and Microservices architecture.
• Familiarity of your stack and its deployment in all environments.
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code.
• Ability to test and debug.
• Analytical and detail-oriented.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ready to work with new technologies and architectures
• Desire to learn while coming up with new feature ideas.
• A self-starter who is not afraid to challenge the status quo.

Salary
N275,000 - N400,000 per month.
