Job Description

• We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Restaurant Cleaner to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our restaurant, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our customers.
• This role involves cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, restrooms, and kitchen spaces.
• The Restaurant Cleaner will work closely with the restaurant staff to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
• The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces, as well as disposing of trash and maintaining cleaning supplies.
• The Restaurant Cleaner must adhere to all health and safety regulations and be able to handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors in all areas of the restaurant.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including tables, chairs, and countertops.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean kitchen areas, including stoves, ovens, and refrigerators.
• Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Work closely with restaurant staff to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as required.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any issues to management.
• Adhere to the restaurant's cleaning schedule and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Salary
N50,000 per month.
