We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Supervisor - Fertilizer Plant

Location: Magboro, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties / Responsibilities
Production Supervision:

• Create crop-specific blends with the plant manager
• Organize workflow by delegating tasks and creating timetables
• Daily monitoring of factory worker attendance, identifying inefficiencies, and suggesting improvements
• Check for and report waste sources on a regular basis.
• Ensures that all of the company's objectives are met by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results
• Ensure that production downtime is addressed promptly, and that output meets specifications
• Maintain proper cleaning of bagging bins, weigh Hoppers, blenders, and conveyors to ensure material flow
• Ensure that all safety and good housekeeping policies are followed

Governance Abilities:

• Accurate production report documentation to reflect production figures and downtime

Job Location:

• Along Lagos Ibadan Expressway, Close to Magboro or Mountain of Fire Church. Ogun State.

Qualifications and Experience

• B.Eng / HND with a minimum of Second class upper in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• Membership of Nigerian society of Engineers will be an added advantage
• At least 8 years cognate experience in a fertilizer plant and manufacturing operation
• He/ she must have knowledge of production processes and safety policies.
• He/she must be able to develop comprehensive reports on activities and must be good in report writing and analysis.
• Age Requirement: Qualified candidates should not be more than 35 years old

• Leadership skills.
• Ability to manage team of production staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of production processes and safety policies.
• Report writing and data analysis skills.
