Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our household as a Cook/Maid.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the home.
• This role requires someone who is passionate about cooking, has a keen eye for detail, and can manage household tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Cooking:

• Prepare daily meals according to dietary preferences and nutritional needs.
• Plan menus in collaboration with the household members.
• Shop for groceries and other kitchen supplies as needed.
• Ensure all meals are prepared and served on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces.
• Store food properly and ensure that all kitchen equipment is in good working order.
• Accommodate any special dietary requests or restrictions.

Housekeeping:

• Clean and maintain all areas of the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and kitchen.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish surfaces.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and manage laundry (washing, drying, ironing, and folding).
• Organize closets, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• Manage household supplies and report when items need to be replenished.
• Handle occasional deep cleaning tasks as required.
• Assist with basic household maintenance tasks or coordinate with service providers for repairs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cook and/or maid, preferably in a private household or similar setting.
• Ability to prepare a variety of cuisines and follow dietary guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning techniques.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Discretion and respect for the privacy of the household members.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items such as groceries, laundry baskets, and cleaning equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Salary
N70,000 / month.
