Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of a restaurant.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare budgets and assist in financial planning.
• Manage payroll and employee-related financial records.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
• Provide financial advice to management to support business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Candidate should live around Gwarinpa or nearby.
