Job Title: Food Service Manager

Location: Wuse Zone 6, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the food service department, ensuring seamless and efficient service.
• Manage and mentor kitchen and service staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Develop and implement food safety and sanitation protocols, maintaining compliance with health regulations.
• Create and execute menus that are both appealing and cost-effective, considering customer preferences and dietary requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Analyze performance metrics and customer feedback to continuously improve service quality and operational efficiency.
• Handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to optimize profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Food Service Manager or similar role, with a track record of successful team leadership and operational management.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, as well as industry regulations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer- centric approach.
• Culinary degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and food service management software.
