Job Description

• Are you a culinary artist with a passion for creating exceptional dishes and leading a dynamic kitchen team? Stem Kitchen is known for its vibrant atmosphere and exquisite menu offerings. We’re looking for a talented Chef to lead our kitchen and elevate our food and pastries made with Love to new heights.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare innovative, high-quality dishes that delight our kids and customer alike.
• Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve excellence and maintain a positive work environment.
• Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory control, and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and current food trends.
• Monitor food costs and manage budgets to ensure profitability while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure all dishes are presented in a visually appealing manner and meet our high standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful dishes and menu creations.
• Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
• Creativity and a passion for experimenting with new flavors and presentation styles.
• Culinary degree or relevant certifications are preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
