Job Title: Personal Driver

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• The Personal Driver is responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation for the employer and their family members or designated individuals.
• The role includes ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained, adhering to traffic regulations, and assisting with errands as required. The Personal Driver must demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and discretion at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Transportation Services:

• Safely transport the employer and/or their family members to various locations, including meetings, appointments, and social events.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely arrival, considering traffic conditions and weather.
• Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle when necessary.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Regularly inspect the vehicle to ensure it is in excellent working condition.
• Schedule and perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and car washes.
• Report any mechanical issues or damages to the employer and arrange for necessary repairs.

Adherence to Traffic Laws:

• Comply with all road safety and traffic regulations.
• Maintain a clean driving record and report any traffic violations or accidents immediately.
• Ensure that the vehicle is always equipped with necessary documents, such as insurance and registration.

Discretion and Confidentiality:

• Maintain confidentiality regarding the employer’s personal and professional matters.
• Exercise discretion in all interactions and communications.

Errands and Additional Duties:

• Assist the employer with various errands, such as shopping, deliveries, and pickups.
• Provide occasional assistance with luggage, packages, or other items.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the employer.

Time Management:

• Maintain punctuality and be available at the designated times for pickups and drop-offs.
• Keep track of schedules and be prepared for last-minute changes or requests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a personal or professional driver.
• In-depth knowledge of Abuja roads and traffic patterns.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience driving luxury or high-performance vehicles.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• First Aid or CPR certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• The role requires long periods of driving, sometimes in heavy traffic.
• The driver may be required to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, based on the employer’s needs.
• Must be able to handle the physical demands of assisting with luggage and other heavy items.

Salary
N100,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
