Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ajah, Lagos

Job Summary

• As our Accountant, you'll ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and accounted for in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• You'll work to keep the cost and profit margins in line with targets to maximize profits for the owners and stakeholders of the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock control and inventory systems and assume general responsibility for financial records.
• Create journal entries and make account balance adjustments to properly reflect financial statements and create bank reconciliations by checking account balances against bank statements.
• Prepare financial reports in compliance with government accounting laws, including monthly statements and annual audits examine budgets and create projections of upcoming costs using historical data.
• Estimate tax obligations for the business following state and federal legislation and process payroll for all employees using automated software programs or manual methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of resort products and accounting software.
• Capacity to prepare monthly reports, budgets, P&L Accounts, and Balance sheets.
• Financial planning and accounting skills.

Salary
N250,000 - N350,000 monthly.
