Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Studio Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our rental photography and content studio in Ikeja.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing studio bookings, maintaining equipment, ensuring a seamless customer experience and supporting photographers and content creators who utilize the space.
The Studio Supervisor will also handle administrative tasks and ensure the studio environment is conducive to creativity and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Studio Operations Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the studio, ensuring a clean, organized and well-maintained environment.
Manage studio bookings, including scheduling, client communications and ensuring timely setups and breakdowns for each session.
Coordinate the setup of lighting, backdrops and other equipment as per client requirements.
Ensure all studio equipment, including cameras, lighting and props, are in good working condition and promptly address any maintenance issues.
Client Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a positive experience from booking to session completion.
Assist clients with any specific needs or requests during their studio sessions.
Provide tours of the studio to potential clients and answer any inquiries about the space or services offered.
Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Inventory and Equipment Management:
Maintain an inventory of all studio equipment, props and supplies.
Monitor equipment usage and manage the check-in/check-out process to prevent loss or damage.
Coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing, repairs and purchasing new items as needed.
Administrative Duties:
Manage invoicing, payments, and other financial transactions related to studio rentals.
Keep accurate records of all bookings, client interactions and studio usage statistics.
Assist in marketing efforts, including updating social media platforms, responding to inquiries and promoting the studio to attract new clients.
Team Supervision:
Supervise any additional studio staff or assistants, ensuring they adhere to studio policies and provide excellent service.
Provide training and support to new staff members as required.
Coordinate with external vendors and freelancers when necessary.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including proper use of equipment and adherence to fire and health regulations.
Conduct regular safety checks and keep the studio environment secure for all users.
Requirements
Experience:
Previous experience in a photography studio or a similar creative environment is highly desirable.
Experience in managing people, processes, and customer interactions.
Skills:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with studio equipment.
Proficiency in using booking systems, invoicing software and basic computer applications.
Knowledge of photography, lighting and studio equipment is an advantage.
