Your Responsibilities
In summary, you'll:

• Craft and implement procurement strategies that sync with company goals while emphasising cost-efficiency, quality, and timeliness.
• Foster and manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and maintain high-quality standards with an eye on competitive pricing.
• Provide leadership to the procurement team, offering mentorship to fine-tune their skills and streamline procurement protocols.
• Manage all operational facets of procurement, from sourcing to purchasing and contract administration, with compliance to internal and external policies.
• Analyse and capitalise on opportunities for savings and enhancements within supply-chain operations to improve overall procurement procedures.

Requirements
The experience we're looking for:

• Extensive background in procurement with a track record of increasing responsibility and impact, ideally in the consumer goods sector.
• Adept at negotiating and analytical thinking, focused on cost-saving measures and strong supplier relationship cultivation.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, propelling them towards shared objectives.
• Well-versed in using a range of procurement software and tools, with excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
