Job Description

• We are looking for a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to handle a high volume of interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and in-person, providing accurate and timely information.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues by identifying the problem, offering solutions, and following up to ensure resolution.
• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
• Process orders, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
• Assist customers with product selection, providing guidance and recommendations based on their needs.
• Update customer records in the system, ensuring accurate and detailed information.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as bakers, builders, decorators and logistics.
• Track and report recurring issues to management, contributing to continuous improvement of customer service processes.
• Stay informed about product offerings, company policies, and promotions to effectively assist customers.
• Handle a high volume of customer interactions while maintaining high service standards.
• Meet or exceed individual and team performance metrics, such as response time, resolution time, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be living in Lekki.
• Proven experience in a customer service role or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency with customer service software, databases, and tools.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Familiarity with the company’s products or services (training provided).
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in customer service or related fields are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a specific industry, such as retail, telecommunications, or financial services.
• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities.
• Knowledge of CRM systems like Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar platforms.

Working Conditions

• The role may require extended periods of sitting or standing.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 monthly.
