Job Title: Photographer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a talented and creative Photographer to join our dynamic team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality images that visually communicate the stories, impact, and activities of Rise Interactive Studios.
• This role involves working closely with the team to produce images that align with our brand and mission.

Key Responsibilities
Photography:

• Capture high-quality images at various events, programs, and activities organized or supported by Rise Interactive Studios.
• Plan, organize, and execute photoshoots for various campaigns, including promotional content, product photography, and portraits.
• Work with the creative team to develop concepts and themes for photoshoots that align with our brand message and objectives.
• Edit and retouch photos using professional software to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.
• Maintain an organized archive of all photos and ensure they are easily accessible for future use.

Creative Direction:

• Collaborate with the team to develop visual content that supports our campaigns and initiatives.
• Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance the visual appeal of our content and materials.
• Stay updated on current trends in photography and visual storytelling, and incorporate new techniques and ideas into your work.
• Assist in the creation of visual assets for social media, websites, and other digital platforms.

Equipment Management:

• Maintain and manage all photography equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
• Keep an inventory of photography equipment and accessories, and recommend new purchases when necessary.
• Ensure all equipment is properly stored and transported to shoot locations as needed.

Event Coverage:

• Attend and provide photography coverage for Rise Interactive Studios' events, including workshops, seminars, conferences, and community outreach programs.
• Capture candid moments, key highlights, and the overall atmosphere of events to convey the impact and experience.
• Work closely with event coordinators to ensure all photography needs are met.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

• Collaborate with videographers, graphic designers, and content creators to produce cohesive and compelling visual content.
• Work with different departments to understand their photography needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of professional photography experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of photography styles, including portrait, event, and product photography.
• Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or other professional editing tools.
• Excellent eye for detail and a strong sense of visual composition.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work outside of regular business hours, as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in photography for social enterprises or non-profit organizations.
• Knowledge of video production and editing is an added advantage.
• Understanding of digital marketing and how photography supports brand identity and engagement.
