We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: House Carer / Maid

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Responsibilities
General Cleaning:

• Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all rooms.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.

Kitchen Duties:

• Clean countertops, stovetops, and sinks.
• Wash dishes or load/unload the dishwasher.
• Organize kitchen items and ensure proper sanitation of food preparation areas.

Bathroom Care:

• Scrub and disinfect toilets, showers, bathtubs, and sinks.
• Replenish toiletries such as toilet paper and soap.
• Ensure that bathrooms are tidy and odor-free.

Bedroom Maintenance:

• Change bed linens and make beds.
• Organize personal items and declutter rooms as needed.
• Dust and clean nightstands, dressers, and wardrobes.

Laundry Services:

• Wash, dry, fold, and iron clothes.
• Organize laundry areas and keep them tidy.

Specialized Cleaning Tasks:

• Perform deep cleaning tasks (e.g., carpets, upholstery, and hard-to-reach areas).

Client Interaction:

• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their cleaning preferences and needs.
• Follow special requests or specific instructions as required by the client andInform homeowners of any maintenance issues or repairs needed.

Health & Safety Protocols:

• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines during cleaning tasks.
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly.

Time Management:

• Manage time efficiently to complete cleaning tasks within the scheduled timeframe.
• Prioritize tasks based on client needs and requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Female cleaners are most preferred.
