Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• Our client, an Architectural Company based in Central Business District, Ikeja with specialisation in design, build and interior architecture requires the services of a Quantity Surveyor with excellent cognate experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimate for projects, including materials, labour, equipment and overheads.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are kept within the agreed limits.
• Evaluate contractor bids, ensuring that they are competitive and aligned with project requirements.
• Track project expenditures and monitor progress against the budget throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess work progress and measure quantities of completed work.
• Identify potential risks that could impact project cost and timelines.

Education and Requirements

• A Bachelor`s  Degree or Higher National Diploma in relevant discipline from a reputable educational institution
• 3-5 years proven experience in the same position
• Female preferred for gender balance
• Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organization, attention to details, coordination and collaborative skills
• Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems independently
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Effective communication skills.
